Class Schedule
Cancellation and Schedule
Adjustments
It is a student's responsibility to drop a course
at least three (3) business days (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) prior to the start of the class
to receive a full refund. Courses dropped less than three calendar days before
the start of class, or after the start of the course, will receive no refund. No-shows do not constitute cancellation. No
credit may be used toward another section for missed classes. Moraine Valley
Community College reserves the right to cancel any courses due to insufficient
registration and to change any information regarding these courses. Moraine
Valley will not be responsible for any expenses incurred due to cancellation or
changes. Registration fees paid for courses canceled by the college will be
refunded in full.
Student Code of Conduct
The rights of access to technology at Moraine Valley are accompanied by the
responsibility to act with integrity, honesty and good judgment. Students are
expected to comply with the college's Policy for Responsible Use of Information
Technology and the Code of Student Conduct, copies of which are available in the
Student Life Office and at the Learning and Computing Center's circulation desk.
Failure to abide by either policy may result in sanctions, including withdrawal
from the training program with consequent loss of tuition and fees.
Attendance
To receive a Certificate of Attendance, attendance at least 90 percent of the class
dates is required. Attendance is defined as being present for 90 percent of each class
session.
