Richard has been working with 3D Studio since the original DOS
version. Before moving back to Chicago in 1998, he worked as the lead animation
instructor at the Art Institute in Ft. Lauderdale. He also taught at Keiser
College, Palm Beach Community College and started the SE Florida 3D Studio
User's group. In Chicago, he has taught classes at the International Academy of
Merchandising & Design, Consulting For Architects, Westwood College and Moraine
Valley Community College. Plans are in the works to start the Chicago Loop Group
again. He produces numerous forensic and game animations through his company,
VirtualONE, Inc. As a freelance animator, he has animated everything from
environmental impact simulations to fiber optic transmission of data. Each
animation was unique with its one set of problems to solve. As an instructor, he
likes to emphasize the problem-solving approach. Currently he is involved with
an NSF Grant to teach high school instructors Design Visualization via the web. |
