Services for Students

We encourage you to utilize services to help you make a successful career choice. Our staff is available to meet with you individually to help with your questions, to assist you with the job search process, or develop a job search plan.

Appointments—A job resource specialist is available to answer your questions on job search techniques, critique resumes, or provide follow-up to any of the JRC workshops. Assistance is available by appointment. Call (708) 974-5737 to arrange an appointment.

Walk-in Hours—A brief 15 minute session with a Job Resource Specialist. No appointment necessary; first come first serve.
Tuesdays 3-4 p.m.
Wednesdays 9-10 a.m.

• College Central Network― This service is an Internet-based job listing service sponsored by 12 local community colleges. You may review jobs and post your resume for employers to view. Review career-related resources, learn about upcoming events and stay connected with the Job Resource Center with your own homepage.
• You must create a log-in to access this database and activate your account.

• Student Employment

  • America Reads - America Reads Tutors assist grade school students with reading at local schools. Please see web page for details and additional requirements. For more information on this program, contact us at jrc@morainevalley.edu.
